A Platinum-Plus Sustainable Campus Prototype Designed by TDC

TDC is currently designing an institutional building for a Fuel Campus in Bhugaon, Pune, envisioned as a forward-looking academic environment rooted in sustainability, material honesty, and human-centric planning. The project is conceived not as a one-time structure, but as a prototype building that will guide and inspire the design of all future campus developments.

This unique institutional project is planned as a Platinum-Plus rated building, reflecting a strong commitment toward environmental performance, climate responsiveness, and long-term operational efficiency. The architecture is intentionally crafted from the inside out—prioritizing learning environments, comfort, movement, and spatial clarity before shaping the external form.

A key visual and environmental element of the project is its terracotta façade, selected for its warmth, sustainability, and timeless character. The material not only enhances the building’s identity but also contributes to thermal performance, contextual relevance, and a grounded institutional expression.

Through TDC-PUNE and the design approach of TDC- ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN, the building is positioned as a small yet powerful architectural statement—where thoughtful planning, sustainable strategy, and prototype thinking come together. This campus structure represents a new direction in institutional design: adaptable, responsible, and capable of being replicated for future developments while maintaining strong architectural integrity.

With this project, TDC continues to shape environments that are purposeful, future-ready, and aligned with the evolving needs of education and sustainability.
